What needs to change for community proposals to become possible? This session helps teams translate their territorial responses into specific policy recommendations.

Starting from their prototypes, participants identify institutional barriers and the support needed for implementation. Teams distinguish between requests directed towards African authorities, European institutions or funders, and commitments that participating organisations could undertake themselves.

Through peer review, participants examine who would benefit, who might take on additional work, who could be excluded and how decisions could be challenged. Teams then discuss and prioritise their proposals according to their feasibility and the changes required.

The session will produce two or three initial policy proposals per team, supported by feedback on equity, feasibility and accountability.
