🌱 A Bootcamp Series for Soil and Democracy 🏕️🗳️🌍

The SOILTRIBES project includes a series of bootcamps designed as intensive, collaborative learning spaces that bring together diverse participants—ranging from local community actors and farmers to researchers, artists, and digital democrats. These bootcamps serve multiple functions within the project:

Immersive and Experimental: They're not just training sessions, but spaces for co-creation, testing, and mutual learning. The goal is to cross-pollinate knowledge between scientific, traditional, and civic actors.
Locally Grounded: Each bootcamp is context-sensitive, adapting to the unique ecological, cultural, and political features of the region where it’s held.
Focused on Soil Governance & Participation: They explore how participatory processes—like deliberation, digital tools (e.g., Decidim), and artistic methods—can shape more just and inclusive soil policies.
Blending Methods: Bootcamps integrate arts-based, science-based, and policy-based methods to activate both imagination and practical tools for territorial justice and ecological democracy.
Platform Activation: They also serve to test and activate components of the SOILTRIBES participatory platform, supporting both face-to-face and digital participation.
