The third and final SOILTRIBES Bootcamp marks the culmination of our co-creation journey. After transforming community challenges into Minimum Viable Experiments (MVEs), participants will come together to share results, strengthen their initiatives, and explore how the evidence generated through their experiments can contribute to soil advocacy, public engagement and policy influence.

Under the theme "From Soil Evidence to Soil Influence", the Bootcamp will focus on scaling impact, connecting with policymakers, and ensuring the long-term legacy of the SoilTribes Community of Practice.

From Soil Evidence to Soil Influence

The SOILTRIBES Bootcamp series has been designed as a progressive participatory journey, guiding community-led ideas from initial challenges to real-world experimentation and, ultimately, to societal and policy influence.

1. Bootcamp #1 – Porto: Exploration & Challenge Definition

Participants explored ten community-led challenges related to soil literacy, soil culture, and soil governance. Through collaborative dialogue and arts-based methodologies, ideas were refined and four challenges were selected for further development.

2. Bootcamp #2 – Barcelona: Co-design, Prototyping & Pilot Development

The four selected challenges were further developed into collaborative pilot initiatives through participatory design, experimentation, deliberation, and creative prototyping. Participants refined their narratives, strengthened partnerships, and defined initial implementation pathways.

3. Bootcamp #3 – Grenoble: Consolidation & Collective Action

The Grenoble Bootcamp represents the final stage of this journey. By this point, all four initiatives will have developed actionable experiments capable of generating valuable evidence and practical insights. Rather than focusing on designing new solutions, the Bootcamp will concentrate on transforming this evidence into influence.

Under the theme "From Soil Evidence to Soil Influence", participants will explore how their experiments can contribute to public debate, inspire institutional change and strengthen participatory approaches to soil governance. The event will create opportunities for dialogue between contributors, researchers and policymakers, addressing one of the key challenges identified throughout the project: increasing the participation of public authorities within the Community of Practice.

The Bootcamp will also provide space to reflect on the collective learning generated throughout the three Bootcamps, celebrate the achievements of the community, and identify pathways for collaboration and impact beyond the lifetime of the SOILTRIBES project.

Obiective

The main goal of the SOILTRIBES Bootcamp #3 is to consolidate the four Minimum Viable Experiments and support their transition from community-led experimentation to wider societal and policy influence.
More specifically, the Bootcamp aims to:

Showcase the progress and outcomes of the four Minimum Viable Experiments developed throughout the co-creation journey.
Reflect on the evidence, lessons learned and challenges emerging from the experimentation phase.
Strengthen participants' capacity to communicate and advocate for their initiatives among policymakers, public institutions and other key stakeholders.
Foster dialogue between the Community of Practice and decision-makers to strengthen participatory soil governance.
Explore opportunities for scaling, replication and long-term sustainability of the pilot initiatives.
Celebrate our community and encourage participants to continue collaborating beyond the end of the project.
