What experience would you like to share with the community?
Cameroon, endowed with a wide diversity of soil types (including ferralitic, hydromorphic, andosols, vertisols, among others), is facing increasing pressures from deforestation, unsustainable agricultural practices, erosion, acidification, declining fertility, and diffuse pollution. However, the country has not yet established a specific and integrated public policy for sustainable soil management. This absence exposes Cameroon to major risks.
What debate or online activity would you like to propose to your peers?
To develop and operationalize a coherent national policy for sustainable soil management in Cameroon, grounded in scientific data, territorial diagnostics, and participatory governance.
